Calling all Juko-Kai International Dojo!
Join us as we hold our first, in-house, Juko-Kai Forms Competition!!!
This event is not for trophies or a bunch of medals to collect dust... No! This is for bragging rights! For showing what you have worked so hard and diligently on! For community and comradery with your fellow Juko-Kai members! To show that you truly understand and know what your system's kata mean and you can work them the best!
AND! For a whole lot of fun, growth, and to gain an even better perspective of what you wish to perfect.

Here are the main details:
When: Saturday, Aug. 2nd
What Time: 11am to 2pm (subject to change)
What: All JKI Kata permitted to be performed.
Rules: 1 Kata per Style is required. If your Kata is 10 movements or less, you must do 2 Kata for that Style. Toho must do at least 4 kata(unless performing a kata longer than 10 movements) Proper & Clean Gi and Patches must be worn by participant.
Cost: $10 per Style. $5 for 2nd entry in same style. (each time you enter a different style/art it's $10)
Judges: We are planning to have 3 Top Shihan Judges. These individuals will be announced at a later time.
No official ranks will be given at the event, but a tallied score from the 3 judges will be given at the end of the rounds.
There will be placements from 1st to 10th given. (1st being Top) You will hold this placement until at least the next event.
In the event of a tie, there will be a Kata-Off to determine the better of the performers.
