Nazywamy się Julie Legrand i Nina Izycka, jesteśmy artystkami wizualnymi, ilustratorkami. Wzmocnione więzami przyjaźni i harmonijnym współistnieniem naszych światów wizualnych, łączymy nasze praktyki we wspólnych projektach zinów.
Wystawa „Alga” prezentuje kolektywny projekt zina. To poszukiwanie medium i przestrzeni, w której dwa głosy wizualne mogą się spotkać, a także wynik ciekawości, co powstanie, gdy połączą się w jednej publikacji.
Na wystawie zobaczycie rysunki ilustracji z zina, sitodruki nawiązujące do publikacji oraz sam zin wydrukowany na riso i sitodruku.
Julie i Nina mają nadzieję, że oglądanie owoców ich wspólnej pracy sprawi Wam tyle samo przyjemności, co im sama praca, i że będziecie mogli zanurzyć się w podwodnym świecie morskich form, faktur i kolorów.

We are Julie Legrand and Nina Izycka, visual artists and illustrators. Strengthened by the bonds of friendship and the harmonious coexistence of our visual worlds, we combine our practices in joint zine projects.
The "Alga" exhibition presents a collective zine project. It's a search for a medium and a space where two visual voices can meet, and the result of a curiosity about what will emerge when they unite in a single publication.
At the exhibition, you will see drawings of illustrations from the zine, screen prints related to the publication, and the zine itself, printed using riso and screen printing techniques.
Julie and Nina hope that viewing the fruits of their collaborative work will bring you as much pleasure as the work itself brought them, and that you will be able to immerse yourselves in an underwater world of marine forms, textures, and colors.

You bring a T-shirt or a piece of fabric—as long as it's light-colored, not necessarily white or new. Let's not buy, let's recycle! We will print with black ink.
