The Iwere Welfare Scheme is a philanthropic initiative launched by the Iwere oil and gas marketers association of Nigeria owners of Iwere Energy Limited.to uplift the less privileged and promote sustainable development within the region. As the first indigenous group committed to giving back, the scheme focuses on providing financial assistance to vulnerable members through various programs targeted at health, education, and infrastructure development. Rooted in the cultural values of the Itsekiri people, the initiative seeks to foster community empowerment and improve the living standards of its members. By leveraging the proceeds from our initiated business activity and possible support from loyalty of local companies and generated proceeds from oil revenue, the Iwere Welfare Scheme aims to create a positive impact, build trust, and strengthen social bonds within the community. Through this approach, the scheme aspires not only to alleviate poverty but also to create a thriving and resilient environment for future generations.
