The History of “Family Camp”
In 1999 Tom Brown Jr. designed Tracker School's "Coyote Tracks" Family and Youth Programs. This foundational program has set the standard for many Schools and Programs around the world. Especially our “Family Camp” where the entire family can attend together, all ages welcome, and experience the four elements of Shelter, Water, Fire, and Food with guidance from highly trained Instructors.

Our basic structure is having a balance of whole group activities and smaller groups by age. There is a parent group, younger children groups, and teen groups as well. The whole group shares 3 meals a day, nature observation activities, night time camp fire, and an after lunch "siesta" time for swimming, relaxing, working skills. We set up smaller learning groups by age for morning and afternoon to go learn skills or go on an adventure.

Parents do enjoy this type of schedule, some with their kids, some only parent, meals cooked for them, and a relaxing afternoon time to rejuvenate from all the stresses of our modern day world. At 4EEE we learn to Fox Walk and do our best to emulate being in "Earth -Time", slowing down and simply "being" in the moment.

We will also have a Teen Group where youth (13+) can attend without their families.
