Xuefei Yang in Concert

Purbeck Guitar Festival presents Xuefei Yang.

Something for everyone in this celebration of music from across the world, including the classics from a wide variety of genres and cultures.

Xuefei Yang has been described as ‘one of the 100 top classical musicians of our time’ by classic FM

Xuefei Yang is the first-ever internationally recognised Chinese guitarist on the world stage. She widely known for almost single-handedly bringing the classical guitar to audiences in her native country.

She has performed all over the world in prestigious venues and frequently invited to play with the world’s leading orchestras. She has made a wide variety of acclaimed recordings for major labels. Gramophone magazine has described her as one of the leading innovators of her generation.

This concert called 'What A Wonderful World' will include music from across the world with classics from a wide variety of genres and cultures. Including traditional Chinese, European, American Jazz and South American pieces.
