Secret Garden Sketchbooks: A mixed media workshop with Katie Moody

What’s included:

• A full day (10am-4pm) of hands-on guidance and demos
• A beautiful walled garden setting to inspire creativity
• Mixed media techniques to help you loosen up and simplify busy garden scenes
• A relaxed, playful approach to capturing nature in your sketchbook
• Pizza for lunch! (Dietary needs accommodated with notice)
• Tea, coffee, and light refreshments throughout the day

What to bring:

• A mixed media sketchbook
• A selection of your favourite materials (e.g. watercolour, gouache, pens, pencils, pastels or crayons). Be sure to bring at least one wet and dry medium!
• A portable seat or stool (if you’d like to work outdoors during the afternoon and weather permits)
• Weather-appropriate clothing/footwear for walking around the gardens
  
  Katie will be teaching using gouache, coloured pencils and Neocolor IIs. This workshop doesn’t have a set material list as the techniques can work with any art supplies, and Katie will bring plenty of dry materials you can play and experiment with on the day too!
