Community Grief Group

Welcome to the Community Grief Group!

Location: River Valley Arts Center, Lange Studio (1st Flr)

This is an intimate event with limited seating available, offering support for adults 18+ who are looking to process grief with short meditative practice, journaling on topics related to loss, and group coaching with sharing or active listening by participants.

The event is hosted by Julia of Feather's Journey. She is a certified life coach specializing in grief and mindset. She works with adults seeking support as they navigate life after sudden loss or transitions.

Julia often says "There is no timeline for grief and it doesn't end when the funeral is over; loss ebbs and flows throughout life and with different experiences. Support should be available for someone who needs it immediately or 25+ years into their journey."

The aim of this group is to bring together individuals, regardless of years since loss, religious affiliation or spiritual background, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status or family dynamic/status, or any other characteristic that has been a basis for exclusion, who have experienced the loss of a loved one and wish to receive connection and support in a safe, in-person environment.
