A funeral Mass will be held in honor of Staff Sergeant Eugene Darrigan at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Wappingers Falls. Following the service, SSG Darrigan’s remains will be escorted to his final resting place in the cemetery located directly behind the church. Dignitaries will be speaking, and there will also be military honors at the grave site.

The community is invited to attend and pay their respects to this American hero who is finally returning home after 80 years.
