Bobbi Rae

Bobbi Rae is a Whanganui-based musician whose love for music began in her hometown of Taranaki (Te Atiawa) Her original songs often start with a funky bassline and evolve into rich layers of melody and jazzy chords. Drawing inspiration from the ebb and flow of life, Bobbi writes most of her music in moments of heightened emotion, giving each song a deeply personal edge. When she’s not performing solo, she’s fronting her band Ngāti Stank, bringing her own unique flavour and an energetic stage presence to every performance.
