About the event

Ticks & Alpha-Gal Syndrom
A new tick is in town—bringing with it Alpha-gal syndrome, a serious allergy to red meat, dairy, and other mammal products. Join us to learn how to recognize the symptoms and avoid these ticks. Speakers include Rich Toebe, Livestock Educator with Cornell Cooperative Extension, and Kim Cassano, who lives with Alpha-gal syndrome. With tick encounters on the rise this season, this is an important chance to learn, ask questions, and be prepared.
