We’ll be making a handy storage basked out of recycled t-shirt yarn. This is a more relaxed course that’s not heavy on learning new skills and techniques but does offer a satisfying finished project as well as more opportunities throughout the class to chat and interact with your fellow students and friends.
𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 & 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀:
This is a 2 week course (2 x 2 hour sessions).
Week 1: Tuesday 1st July 2025, 7:30-9:30pm
Week 2: Tuesday 8th July 2025, 7:30-9:30pm
𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹:
Improver. Although this is an easy course, it is beneficial to be confident with basic crochet stitches such as sc (UK dc), dc (UK double crochet), chaining, slip stitching and counting stitches. All other techniques will be taught in class.

𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 & 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀:
- Recycled t-shirt yarn (provided).
- 8mm-9mm hook with integrated handle (hooks with separate handles such as Clover Amour are NOT suitable).
- Locking stitch markers.
- 4mm hook for weaving in ends.
- Scissors.
𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘀:
The course comes with a skein of tshirt yarn and and the option of a 9mm hook. This is enough yarn to make the larger basket or two small baskets.
This is NOT a learn to crochet course.
