Waltham Open Studios

 Waltham Open Studios will host its 49th annual celebration of creativity in the arts on November 1 and 2, 2025, from 12–5 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. Over seventy Waltham artists will open their studio doors for hundreds of visitors to Waltham’s vibrant arts community. The event brings together arts professionals, art-enthusiasts, families with children, writers, musicians and creatives, curators and collectors. Visiting the artists in their studio environments, the public can view their work in process, watch technical demonstrations, find inspiration and purchase art directly at its source. Artists will be displaying and discussing a range of original work, including painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, fiber/textiles jewelry and small metals, photography, installation, and film/video. Live demonstrations and workshops will be scheduled throughout the weekend at various studio and gallery locations on Moody Street in downtown Waltham. 

This year, there will be a special gallery exhibit featuring the art of late Waltham artist, Shawn Laswell. All proceeds from the sale of Shawn's art will go to a scholarship fund for an aspiring artist at Waltham High School. Gallery 8, Building 4, 144 Moody St.
