Optical Illusion Lesson

Students will explore optical illusions. They will be introduced to techniques for manipulating line, shape, color, and space. The goal is to create designs that trick the eye. There will be a focus on creating movement, depth, and distorted shapes on a flat surface. Students will have the opportunity to create mind-bending optical illusions.

Teaching Artist: Heather Whitten
Cost: $10 per child and $15 per adult
Materials: Drawing paper, ruler, pencil, eraser, acrylic paint, paint brush, and water.
