Please join me for this yin yoga class with myofascial massage release.
This session will teach you the art of rest and slowing down to aid relaxation and tranquility.
We'll begin with self-massage using a massage ball (provided or feel free to bring your own) concentrating on the parts of the body that we will be working with in our yin poses.
Massaging the body in this way helps to hydrate the fascia an intricate webbing inside the body that covers joints and muscles which can aid in softening and releasing helping to alleviate pain tension and stiffness and allowing you to melt into the yin poses.
I will then guide you into longer-held shapes allowing you to still your mind and stretch your body.
No experience of yoga is necessary this is a slow and gentle practice. It is very much floor-based so the ability to sit or lie on the floor for long periods is required.
