The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce is excited to celebrate a new chapter for a downtown favorite. Join us on Tuesday, October 7, at 10:45 a.m. for the official ribbon cutting of The Post Bakery & Bistro in Downtown Walnut Ridge.
John and Taylor Hoskins are stepping into ownership of The Post, carrying forward the legacy created by Jeremy and Laken Hopper while bringing a few fresh touches of their own. Both will continue their professional careers—John with Union Pacific Railroad and Taylor as Director of Marketing & Communications at Williams Baptist University—while investing their energy into this beloved community gathering spot.
The new team is led by General Manager Heidi Nicole Smith, who brings both heart and experience to the bakery and bistro. Customers can look forward to many returning favorites, along with some exciting new offerings:
☕ Freshly brewed Onyx Coffee
🍦 Loblolly Ice Cream flavors like Snickerdoodle, Bourbon Pecan, Blue Cookie Monster, and even Pup Cups for four-legged friends
🥪 Easy curbside pickup and lunch box orders for the office
🎶 Friday night music and Saturday Ribeye Night (coming soon!)
🙏 The cherished Prayer Room, remaining a space of encouragement for the community
After a short remodel and refresh, The Post Bakery & Bistro is set for its Grand Re-Opening next week. Don’t miss this opportunity to welcome the new owners, celebrate small business growth in our community, and support Downtown Walnut Ridge!
