Candidates must be resident in the North East of England (Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham or Teeside)
Aged 18 or under
Taking Drum/Percussion lessons or are self taught.

After we have verified your application, successful candidates will be invited to attend an audition on Sunday July 6th at either Hexham Masonic Hall or Broomley Grange Stocksfield. TBC
BACKING TRACKS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 30TH JUNE 2025 with the order they are to be performed.
You must prepare 2 contrasting pieces for the Judges. Some questions will follow so please remain at your instrument after your performance.
There will be a panel of 4 or 5 judges and the Mark Jon Bolderson Percussion Foundation Trustee’s decision will be final.
Successful awardees will be notified at our Presentation Evening on Saturday September 20th 2025. All scholarshiip ntrants will be issued a free ticket to attend, additional tickets are available for £7 per ticket. The night will include a free buffet. Venue TBC.
Scholarship Prizes awarded are to be claimed by March 30th of the following year or will be forefitted unless prior agreement is made.
