Service of Surrender

This time of year is full of transitions: little ones starting pre-K or Kindergarten for the first time, kids leveling up to a new grade or a new school, young adults heading into college, families feeling the emptiness of their nest. Along with the milestones that children's growth represents, many life events like loss of health, job loss, or loss of loved ones offer us ample opportunities to deepen our trust in Jesus. But how do we do that? How do we 'just trust'?

And: How do we support each other in this time?

On Saturday, Aug 23, we will help each other through a Service of Surrender, a dedicated time for us to surrender our hearts, circumstances and futures to the Lord. There will be music, art and drama. We will pray for each other: for students and families, teachers and administrators, for the community.
