Zealand Spa Salon Hosts Charity Cut-A-Thon to Benefit Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids
Commerce, MI — Zealand Spa Salon is proud to announce a special Charity Cut-A-Thon benefiting Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids, taking place on Saturday, August 16 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 1001 Welch Rd., Suite 107, Commerce, Michigan.
This community-centered event invites guests to enjoy salon services while giving back to an inspiring
local cause. All proceeds from haircuts and donations during the event will go directly to support Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids Wellness Center and Salon—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides wigs and
support services free of charge to children and young adults in Michigan experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions such as cancer, alopecia, and burns. “Our team at Zealand Spa Salon is excited to come together with the community to support such a
heartfelt mission,” said Jody Hunter, owner of Zealand Spa Salon. “We believe every child deserves to feel confident and cared for, and Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids is doing just that.”

Hair donations will also be accepted at the event in accordance with Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids guidelines. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, raffles, and the satisfaction of supporting a cause that changes lives—one strand at a time. Space is limited and reservations are required to ensure everyone can be accommodated. Hair donations should be 8 inches or more in length and cannot be treated with color or other
chemicals.
