Baker boy hat workshop

This ever popular class has now landed at the Sew NewBo studio using Marks Award winning pattern. The eight panelled hat has been popular since Victorian days and has surfaced throughout fashion ever since. These hats are lovely made of wool fabric but also works well in linen, corduroy, velvet or cotton too. The brim is stiffened with Decovil from Vlieseline which is provided here at the studio. If you have half a metre of fabric you’d like to use, bring it along along with the same amount of fabric to line it. Sewing machines are provided but you are free to bring you own along too if you wish. This workshop runs for half a day



And of course, we provide tea, coffee and biscuits too.

Skill level - intermediate

Half day - 10am - 1pm

Materials - please bring 1/2 metre of main fabric, 1/2 metre of lining
