2nd Annual ETAA River Day Snorkeling and Cookout

Come join us for the 2nd Annual ETAA River Day Cookout. This year we have added snorkeling! We will start the day out by having a potluck style cookout. Burgers, hotdogs and drinks will be provided by the club. We ask that attendees please try to bring a dish to share. Also bring your own chairs.

After we eat we will move to the river where we will be snorkeling, seining and identifying native fish species. If you’d like to participate in the catching of fish you must have a valid TN fishing license. None is needed to hangout and observe what is netted. Identifications will be done by our very own Derek Wheaton, conservation biologist at Conservation Fisheries Inc. CFI has graciously loaned us snorkels and masks for those that do not have their own. This will give us an up close view of the amazing native fish populations in their habitat.

Please bring your friends and family and join us for an afternoon of fun in the river and some tasty food. Hit the GOING button if you can so we can get a rough count of how much food we need to bring. A map will be posted in the group closer to the date to show everyone where at the resort to meet up.
