Charlie Kirk was a faithful servant of God and advocate for conservative values, traveling across the country to talk to the youth about the state of our country and preached the gospel. Charlie was brutally assassinated at the young age of 31 on September 10, 2025 at Utah Valley University as he was beginning his "American Comeback Tour". His death has impacted people all over the world, as his morals, Christian values, and way of debating with others inspired many.
This prayer vigil will give the community of Grand Rapids and greater areas the opportunity to gather in fellowship and worship to pray for the state of our nation, to bring others to Christ, and to pray for the Kirk family during this tragedy. Prayers will also be offered towards other issues affecting the country, and prayers from the public are welcome to come forward.
Please bring flashlights/phones. Candles are allowed but must be safely held and the flames must be contained. No open flames. Candles won't be provided. Peaceful signs and/or flags are welcome. Come as you are.
