Cherry Pie Baking Contest

Contest Rules:
- Pies must be double-crust (can use lattice crust but no crumb toppings allowed).
- Pies must be made with lard.
- Pies must be made with cherries.
- One entry per person.
- Pies must be baked in either an 8" or 9" non-returnable aluminum foil pain (Please include your name, address, and phone number on the bottom of the pan).
- Pies must be at Victory Park in the SE corner under the ten on July 20th between 9:00-11:00 am.
- Pies received after 11:00 am will not be judged but will be available for auction only.
- Judging begins at 11:30 am.
- Grand Prize - $100, 2nd Place - $75, 3rd Place - $50, 4th Place - $25, 5th Place - $15.
- Pie auction will begin at approximately 2:30 pm.
- Winners will be announced at the start of the auction.
- Grand prize is chosen between the 1st place Senior and Junior winners. Grand prize winner will receive an additional $50 in prize money (A pie dish will not be given this year).
- All pies entered into contest become the property of the Walcott Day Committee.
