It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of the legendary Heidi Hess.
For many years, Heidi has been the cornerstone of the Owens EMS program. She has taught both EMT and Paramedic courses, shaping the careers of hundreds—if not thousands—of students who now serve our communities. Her selflessness, expertise, mentorship, and unwavering dedication have left a lasting impact on the region and will truly be missed.
We’re hopeful you’ll still see her around helping with skills when she’s not enjoying her well-earned time at the pool!
Please join us in celebrating Heidi on Friday, February 27th, from 1400–1600 hrs at the Center for Emergency Preparedness, 30150 Tracy Road. Light snacks will be provided, along with ample time to share stories, memories, and express gratitude.
