Join one of the Monday evening art classes where we will explore different techniques & mediums in relaxed, one off sessions. Honour your need for a playful creative outlet that will boost your wellbeing & provide fun within the realms of creativity.
Classes are held in a bright & spacious art studio in
Wakefield city centre.
Facilitated by Artist & Tutor, Shannon S. Wishon
All materials & refreshments are included, but feel free to bring your own.

Using the alchemical watercolour medium, we will be looking to these magical creatures to inspire us.
June 9th
The Element of Fire
As the fiery sun moves closer, this session’s focus will guide us on textured canvas & mixed media.
June 16th
Celebrating Summer Maize
This week we will look at the folklore and imagery of the Corn Goddess & make one of our very own.
June 23rd
Hail, the Sun!
Inspired by our star, its rays and light, we will be using mixed media to create a sun alter.
June 30th
Summer Goddesses
Inspired by a host of Goddesses-Hestia, Juno, Sulis, Amaterasu and many more! We will respond creatively so to connect to these deities.
July 7th
A Mushroom Patch
Papier mâché & paper pulp mushrooms to create a troop of all size & shapes.
July 14th
Sculpting with Papier Mâché
Another week of papier mache, the vintage art of model making!
