About the event

Ration book Picnic
Come and join us for a picnic like no other! The first fifty people who attend will receive a wartime style picnic to enjoy in the churchyard (or indoors if it rains). The picnic will include a spam sandwich, carrot cake and an apple. We'll be having a wartime singalong and there'll be VE80 crafts for the kids. Admission is just £1 so make sure you come early! 1940s fancy dress is not compulsory but very much encouraged. The church will also be open during the picnic if you want to pop in and see our VE Day exhibition.
