FREE Coach Trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Join us on a FREE coach trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park!

On Saturday 26th April, we’ll be heading up to Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) for the day and all residents of the borough of Wigan are invited.

This summer, we’ll be hosting a community led Public Art Festival across the borough. We want local residents to get involved and take inspiration from some of the world's leading artists at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, before coming back and helping us commission some new art of our own.

YSP is home to work by some of the world’s leading sculptors, set amongst acres of beautiful countryside, there will be something for everyone – there are even plenty of sheep.

You’ll be free to explore the site with a picnic on your own or join us for a free lunch and take part in a programme of tours and workshops that are on during the day.

We have a limited number of tickets available, so book yours quickly so you don’t miss out!

The Park covers a very large area and to get the most out of your visit you should be aware that there will be uneven terrain and potentially lots of walking, though a limited number of mobility scooters are available at the destination which we will be happy to arrange for you.

The coach trip will be approximately 2 hours with a comfort break roughly halfway. The coach will have a few steps when embarking and disembarking.

• Outward Departure: 09:00 - Mesnes Park Terrace. **Please arrive by 08:45 to board the coach

• Outward Arrival: 11:00 - Yorkshire Sculpture Park
• Return Departure: 17:30 - Yorkshire Sculpture Park
• Return Arrival: 19:30 - Mesnes Park Terrace. **Please board the coach no later than 17:15
