What is Ataxia?
Ataxia refers to rare degenerative diseases of the nervous system that are debilitating and life-shortening particularly for children. Age of symptom-onset varies from childhood to late-adulthood. Ataxia is not curable and limited treatment options target symptoms, but can not prevent progression.
