Te Awaroa Helensville Heritage Festival

The Helensville Railway Station will be a hub of activity, with train displays including the beloved Sammy the Steam Train. Vintage enthusiasts can admire gleaming vehicles at the Helensville Mechanical vintage car show, while history buffs can step inside historic houses, explore the RSA’s military memorabilia, and join a Twilight Cemetery Tour.

Food lovers will be spoilt for choice with food trucks, and art fans can witness the unveiling of a brand-new heritage mural.

The Te Awaroa Museum will host an extraordinary display of more than 250 Barbie dolls, while the Helensville Showgrounds will showcase a heritage horse racing display.

Shuttles will be available to help visitors make the most of the many activities spread across town.
