We supported this event last year, and we're doing it again this year!
This is a great opportunity to have jumps designed for you, receive some coaching and develop your skills... AND... have a little informal competition. You don't need to form a team, we can help pair you up with others.
You must have an NZPIA A endorsement to join.
Unfortunately, unlike other DZs, we have not received any funding so SDA will be sponsoring this event 100% by providing a camera flyer for each jump. This is extremely costly, hence the $50 registration fee.
8am meet at DZ to be given the dive pools for 2-way or 4-way
Manifest your team and include a camera slot, we'll supply someone for you. Jump. Easy as.
How the NZ Skydiving League works
2-way (one dive pool)
4-way (choose between beginner, advanced and open dive pools)
You can attempt the jumps as many times as you want/can and submit your best jump. There are no restrictions on how many teams people jump on (you can be in multiple teams and/or multiple events).
SDA will take responsibility for uploading your jumps to the judges.
Jumps will be scored: Each team member ‘takes their score’ with them (so the composition of your team can change from month to month, or even jump to jump!). If jumping on multiple teams, individuals take the maximum score you achieved on the round.
