The Hakataramea Sustainability Collective (HSC) is working with local landowners to enhance the catchment values on four sites within our valley.
This October, we need your help to plant over 4,500 native plants grown by our Community Native Nursery at Waitaki Valley School.
From Monday, 13th to Wednesday, 15th of October, we will be planting at the Benny's Belfield property between 8:30am and 3pm each day.
Whether you can spare a few hours or a whole day, your help will be much appreciated.
What to Bring:
- Sturdy footwear & clothes for wetland planting
- Gloves, hat & water bottle
- A spade (if you have one)
All other equipment is provided.
Good company, morning tea and lunch provided. We will have water but please bring your own water bottle to refill.
To help us plan, please email Leigh,
