Garth is a pioneering DJ and producer who has spent over two decades shaping the West Coast underground. A founding member of the legendary Wicked Sound System, he helped ignite San Francisco’s Acid House scene in the early ’90s with infamous full moon beach parties and his signature fusion of Acid House, Space Disco, and Psyche Rock. His acclaimed residencies include Come Unity, Back2Back with Jenö, and his All Night Long Loft parties, which continue to inspire dancers and critics alike.
Garth’s musical influence extends globally: from touring with DJ Harvey across Australia and Japan to headlining renowned clubs like Fabric, Twilo, Horse Meat Disco, and Burning Man’s early sound camps. He’s released over 60 records, including the breakout anthem Twenty Minutes of Disco Glory, and founded the Grayhound label, which launched many artists and captured the West Coast’s raw edge.
Through remixes, collaborations, and re-edits with Golden Goose, Garth remains true to the art of all-vinyl DJing, playing worldwide — from Hawaii to Tokyo, Berlin to Mexico City — always keeping the dance floor’s spirit alive.
