The hike on the ridge which has a width about 6 ft so it is pretty safe. Don't know if it is safe for dog. Kids are okay as long as they listen and don't run and go to the edge of the ridge. There is a little climbing that requires one or two hands. Rock that is big but the total height is less than 6 ft so it is still safe. We are only hike to the bench area and have at least 2 view points in between. I saw people bring babies with them but they only stop at the first view point which is about 15-20 mins hike.
For people who want adventure, the whole trail is 6.5 miles and it is rated hard in AllTrail. We are only doing the beginning part of the hike.
