We are delighted to announce that the Palpung Buddhist Center in Mrzli Log will again host the esteemed Buddhist teacher Venerable Zilnon Rinpoche this year.
On this special occasion, we will celebrate the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. In the afternoon, Rinpoche will bestow the empowerments of Hayagriva, Vajrapani, and Garuda combined.

The teachings will be conducted in Tibetan, with translation into English, Slovenian, and Italian.
The event is suitable for all levels.
Anyone is welcome to attend, whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner.
We will soon provide detailed information about the program and suggested donations.
Our intention is to make the program accessible to everyone who wishes to participate, regardless of financial means.

CELEBRATION OF H.H. DALAI LAMA’S 90TH BIRTHDAY
On this special occasion, we will celebrate with deep gratitude and joy the 90th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. His life and work inspire countless people worldwide, and his teachings on compassion, wisdom, and peace guide us on the path of inner development. Together, we will celebrate with prayers, good wishes, and expressions of respect for this extraordinary spiritual leader.
EMPOWERMENT OF HAYAGRIVA, VAJRAPANI, AND GARUDA COMBINED
This powerful healing practice combines a meditation on the Power, Compassion and Wisdom of the Buddha, represented in their wrathful forms as Vajrapani, Hayagriva and Garuda. This is a powerful blessing that unites the energies of these three mighty deities. Hayagriva represents wrathful compassion, overcoming obstacles and negative forces. Vajrapani embodies fearless wisdom and strength, dispelling ignorance. Garuda symbolizes freedom and protection from illnesses and harmful influences.
VENERABLE ZILNON RINPOCHE
Venerable Zilnon Rinpoche is a recognized Buddhist master from the Kagyu Thekchen Ling Monastery in Lava, Kalimpong District, West Bengal, India. He is also the director of the Rigpe Dorje Monastic Institute. In April 2022, he successfully completed a 13-year Acharya (Master’s) program in advanced Buddhist philosophy at the institute and received the title of Acharya. After this appointment, he became the director of the institute, responsible for administration, curriculum management, and teaching.
His Holiness the 17th Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje and His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situ Rinpoche recognized him as the third incarnation of the famous treasure revealer Tertön Zilnon Namkhe Dorje.
Since 2022, Rinpoche has started traveling abroad and has visited Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore multiple times. This will be his second visit to Europe.
We look forward to celebrating His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s birthday together and receiving the precious empowerment to deepen and strengthen our spiritual path.
