1 Night Wild Ponies Backpacking Trip at Grayson Highlands

Join Happy Hiking Company for a 2 day / 1 night Intro to Backpacking trip to Grayson Highlands! Enjoy spectacular views and wildlife encounters with the local wild ponies.

This beginner friendly trip, this route will focus on keeping the miles easier to allow more time to learn the ins and outs of backpacking. This trip will focus on teaching participants the ropes on how to set up camp, how to use their gear, and more. Perfect for those interested in backpacking but haven't had the chance to give it a try!

When: 5/10 - 5/11, We'll depart at 10am and most groups have finished the following day by 2pm.

Where: We'll meet at the overnight backpackers lot within Grayson Highlands. Exact address is provided by your guide after you book.

Cost: $350 for the full 2 day trip

Whats included:
- Food: All food is included and will be provided by Happy Hiking Co.
- Gear: Happy Hiking Co. provides Backpacks, Tents, Hiking Poles, and Sleeping pads to all guests, no extra charge. Additionally all shared gear such as camping stoves, water filters, first aid kits, bathroom trowels, etc. are provided by your guide.
- All permits associated with this trip
- A Wilderness First Responder certified guide to keep all guests safe and having fun!
