Monthly Morning Chorus

Join us for this monthly gathering at Anstine-Audubon Preserve to quietly enjoy the sounds of birds as they greet the day!

The sound of songbirds in the morning is beautiful, inspirational and good for us! Scientists have studied the effects of birdsong on human mood. The results show that just a little bit of birdsong can really lift our spirits. Why do they do it? Are they celebrating the first worm of the day? Are they relieved that they made it through the night? Or are they just happy? Only the birds know for sure.

Join us for this monthly gathering at Anstine Audubon Preserve to quietly enjoy the sounds of birds as they greet the day.

Frequency: 2nd Saturday of every month, one hour after sunrise, for 1.5 hours
