Experience IRONMAN Copenhagen and the famous atmosphere at Geels Bakke!
Geels Bakke is considered a beautiful gateway to Copenhagen, with its broad road surrounded by forest on both sides.
All athletes ride up the hill two times, first time after 33 KM and second time after 100 KM. This will give you a great opportunity to cheer and take part of the celebration with both the athletes and the other spectators.
Up the hill there will be music and celebration as the athletes pass by. It will be possible to buy food and drinks, so you´re able to cheer all day long.

📍How to get there📍
The easiest way to arrive at Geels Bakke is by S-train. The train goes every 10 minutes in each direction.
Take A-line towards Hillerød station and jump off at Holte Station (the drive is approximately 29 minutes).
After arriving at the train station there are two paths to Geels Bakke on foot.
You can either walk along Holte Stationsvej and follow the course along Kongevejen, or you can walk through the forest to the hotspot.
