Self-Defense Class

Join Women Against Violence (WAV) for a self-defense class on Tuesday, August 26th. In partnership with A Harder Target, this beginner-level class will teach highly effective techniques for protecting yourself with emphasis on prevention and awareness. The class will only teach standing positions in a supportive, welcoming space.

5:30pm | Networking + Refreshments
6:00pm-7:30pm | Self-Defense Class

Tickets are free for WAV Members and $50 for non-members.

Space is limited to 14 participants, so make sure to purchase your ticket today! Attendees must be 13 years or older. The class will be held at the Samaritan House Administrative Office.

A Harder Target is a woman-owned business led by Leta Krieger, a 20-year veteran of the Virginia Beach Police Department.
