Karl's Open Mic - Warriors Taphouse - Wednesdays

Karl Werne’s Live Open Mic is back every Wednesday from 7 to 10pm at Warriors Taphouse on General Booth Blvd.

Each participant gets 15 minutes (usually 3 songs)

Karl will kick off the night to set the tone and reserve the last set for himself to welcome any musicians who wish to accompany, (on hand drum, bass, harmony, improvisational soloists, etc).

Karl Werne has hosted open mics on and off for over 40 years, and has won Best Open Mic in the VEER Magazine Music Awards. His willingness to add guitar, bass, hand drum or harmonies to various entertainers, his sense of 'quality control' for the audience, and his knack for creating a collaborative air between new or unfamiliar musicians has made him a favorite open mic host.
If you are ready for the public stage and have a few songs you want to play, if you are a songwriter and want to try out new material, or if you are a musician looking to play with others, come check out the open mic every Wednesday night w/ Karl Werne at Warriors Taphouse in Virginia Beach.
