Our intention is to co-create an in-person, immersive weekend camp for homesteaders, gardeners, foragers, flower lovers, foodies, and hosts who are curious about nurturing their connection to the land and learning to grow, gather, prepare, and present meaningful meals which nurture our connection to nature self, and community.
We will collaborate with local farmers, foragers, florists, and chefs to draw on their passion, knowledge, and experience to present workshops, activities, demonstrations, and hands-on learning.
Program offerings will include
Regenerative Gardening
Summer Foraging
Growing Cut Flowers
And more!
In alignment with Driftless Curiosity’s mission to deepen connection between people and the land through curiosity, experiential education, farming, social justice, and the arts, I would like to highlight the following aspects of these connections.
Agricultural Production (Organic, Regenerative, Diversity, Reduced Tillage, Ecologically Sound) Vegetable, Fruits, Herbs, Flowers, and Livestock
Foraging (Safety, Identification, Sustainable Gathering)
Hosting (Presentation, Space, Mindful Meals, Flow, Conversation, Community Connection)
