🌲What is a Jesse Tree?
Jesse Tree is an ornament kit and daily devotional that shares the stories on Jesus’s family tree, from Creation to the manger. Each day of Advent, families read a Bible story about someone on Jesus’s family tree and hang an ornament representing that story. As you decorate your tree, your family will see how God has loved us from the beginning, and how Jesus was present from Creation to the manger to our lives today.
🌲Will this help my family focus on Jesus during Christmas?
Yes! Kids love hearing the stories of Adam and Eve, Abraham, Esther, Ruth, and many more each day. They love seeing what the ornament will be each day. This is an Advent "calendar" that really helps families understand WHY we celebrate Christmas!
🌲Do I need to be a "Bible expert" to do this?
No! The devotional includes a synopsis of the Bible story along with the daily verse. I wanted parents to feel completely equipped to do this!
🌲What is the "devotional"?
The devotional is the Bible verse, the story summarized, how it points to the coming of Jesus, conversation questions, a daily prayer, and optional activities to "live it out," such as baking cookies for a neighbor.
