Beachcomber Quilted Jacket Class

Do you have an older or antique quilt that needs some love? Repurpose that quilt and make a wearable jacket for you or a friend. Bring your quilt and a sweatshirt that is 1x bigger than you would normally wear and make a piece of clothing that you will appreciate forever. Or if you don't have a quilt, you can piece one together. Purchase the pattern and bring the pieces with you to class.

*Intermediate sewing skills

Supplies:
Well-maintained sewing machine (please don't bring the big one, our space is limited).

Neutral thread

Scissors - large and small snips

1/2-yard matching fabric for binding

Crewel necked sweatshirt 1x larger than you would normally wear

2-1/2 yards lining fabric (optional)

Small iron

1 Older, well-loved quilt or pre-pieced fabric from the pattern


Class seat cost: $15
