„Kolekcijos. Pokalbis su Lolita Jablonskiene"

Gruodžio 9 d. vyks trečioji pokalbių ciklo „Kolekcijos“ dalis 💜 Šį kartą į pokalbį kviečiame Nacionalinės dailės galerijos direktorę Lolitą Jablonskienę.

Lolita Jablonskienė taip pat yra menotyros daktarė, kritikė ir kuratorė. Taipogi ji yra Lietuvos paviljonų Venecijos bienalėje komisarė (1999, 2005 ir 2026 m.).

„Kolekcija kaip nacionalinė tapatybė“ – tai pokalbis apie tai, kaip muziejaus kolekcija tampa ne tik meno kūrinių visuma, bet ir valstybės kultūrinės atminties pasakojimu. Kartu su Nacionalinės dailės galerijos vadove aptarsime, kaip formuojama kolekcija, kokias istorijas ji pasakoja apie šalį ir jos žmones, kaip menas padeda kurti ir reflektuoti nacionalinę tapatybę.

On December 9th, the third installment of the talk series “Collections” will take place 💜 This time we are hosting a conversation with the director of the National Gallery of Art, Lolita Jablonskienė.

Our guest, Lolita Jablonskienė, has a doctorate in art history and is a well-regarded art critic and curator. Additionally, she has taken on the role of the commissioner for the Lithuanian pavilion (in 1999, 2005 and 2026).

"The Collection as National Identity" – this conversation will tackle how a museum collection becomes not just merely an assembly of artworks but also a vehicle for the nation's cultural memory. Together with the director of the National Gallery of Art, we will discuss how the collection is formed, what stories it tells about the country and its people, and how art helps to create and reflect national identity.
