Šis žygis – kvietimas apmąstyti, kas yra žmogaus gyvybė ir kokią vietą ji užima mūsų sąmonėje, visuomenėje ir sprendimuose. Nors daugelis mūsų remiasi krikščioniška pasaulėžiūra, tačiau gyvybės tema yra universali – ji jungia tiek tikinčius, tiek netikinčius. Tai – žmogiškojo orumo klausimas, nepriklausomas nuo religinių ar filosofinių įsitikinimų.
Kiekvienas žmogus, nepriklausomai nuo jo vystymosi stadijos ar gyvenimo aplinkybių, yra vertingas. Ginti gyvybę reiškia ginti žmogų, ginti šeimą. Tai kvietimas visuomenei būti atviresnei silpnesniesiems, atsigręžti į pažeidžiamiausius – tuos, kurių balsas dar negirdimas.
Šis žygis – tai solidarumo ženklas. Pirmiausia su moterimis, kurios pasirenka gimdyti net ir pačiomis sudėtingiausiomis aplinkybėmis. Taip pat su vyrais, kurie prisiima atsakomybę ne tik už vaiką, bet ir jo motiną. Solidarumo su šeima, tobuliausia vyro, moters ir vaikų bendrystės išraiška, ženklas. Taip pat – su tais, kurie taip ir neišvydo šio pasaulio šviesos.
Tikime, kad žmogaus gyvybė – ne problema, kurią reikia „išspręsti“, o dovana, kurią būtina saugoti. Net jeigu toji dovana neišvysta pasaulio šviesos, ji verta mūsų pagarbos ir oraus atsisveikinimo.
Taigi šis žygis skirtas visiems, kurie tiki, kad žmogaus gyvybę verta saugoti ir gerbti.
ŽYGIS YRA:
• taikus, išreiškiantis pagarbą negimusiai gyvybei;
• telkiantis moteris ir vyrus, pasiryžusius saugoti pradėtą žmogaus gyvybę, bei jų šeimas;
• sąžinės balso susibūrimas;
• būdas pasakyti, kad net ir besikeičiančiame pasaulyje yra tiesų, kurios lieka nekintamos. Viena tokių tiesų – žmogaus gyvybė prasideda nuo prasidėjimo momento.
ŽYGIS NĖRA:
• politinės partijos renginys;
• religinis renginys;
• pykčio ar neapykantos mitingas;
• protestas prieš moteris, vyrus, gydytojus ar tuos, kurie turi kitokius įsitikinimus.

On October 4th in Vilnius, join us to march together and witness the importance of unborn life for society!
Our peaceful march is an invitation to reflect on what human life is and the place it holds in our conscience, in society, and in our decisions. While many of us are guided by a Christian worldview, the theme of life is universal, it unites both believers and non-believers. It is a question of human dignity, independent of religious or philosophical convictions.
Every human being, regardless of developmental stage or life circumstances, is valuable. To defend life means to defend the human person, to defend the family. It is a call for society to be more open and compassionate to the most vulnerable amongst us, that is, to the voice of the unborn.
Our March is a sign of solidarity, with women who choose life even in difficult circumstances, with men who embrace responsibility for both mother and child, with families as the fullest expression of love and communion, and with the little ones who never saw the light of this world.
We believe that human life is not a problem to be “solved,” but a gift to be protected. Even if that gift never sees the light of the world, it is worthy of our respect and a dignified natural farewell.
Thus, this March is for all who believe that human life is worth protecting and honoring.
THE MARCH IS:
• Peaceful, expressing respect for unborn life;
• Uniting women and men determined to protect nascent human life, and their families;
• A gathering of the voice of conscience;
• A way to proclaim that even in a changing world there are truths that remain unchanged. One such truth is that human life begins at the moment of conception.
THE MARCH IS NOT:
• An event politically affiliated with a party;
• A religious event;
• A rally of anger or hatred;
• A protest against women, men, doctors, or those with different convictions
