Birželio 7 d. kultūriniame komplekse SODAS 2123 jūsų lauks dar viena išdykusi ir įkaitusi WAP bendr(adarb)ystė. Šįkart su kultiniu alternatyvaus drag’o kolektyvu iš Geteborgo CULT. 8 gyvų drag karalienių ir karalių (ir in betweens) pasirodymų sekta kaitins kraują ir linksmins gaują. 4 svečiai iš Švedijos ir 4 vietos pažibos šiomis savaitėmis drebins Geteborgo ir Vilniaus scenas. Visaip kaip erasmus, tik radikaliau. Nusiteik eklektikai - nuo siaubo iki komedijos, su daug camp’o, politikos ir farso.
O kokia Propaganda be diskžokėjų iš vietos bendruomenės! Ir, žinoma, atviro mikrofono, kad visos ir visi, kieno balsas tarp visų žvaigždžių ant Baltic Pride scenos nepasigirsta, galėtų pasisakyti.
Šią dieną metuose, kai susirenkame pasidemonstruoti, švęsti save ir vieni kitas ir pasidalinti, kad oficialiai švęsti vis dar nelabai turime dėl ko. Homofobija, transfobija ir mizoginija vis dar n-kartų užtrenkia duris prieš nosį. Kaip jau ir įpratai, kaip jau ir nebestebina, bet įtūžis niekur nedingsta.
Šią naktį susitinkame ir be išlygų ir atsiprašymų priemame save ir vieni kitas. Tiek daug gražių, drąsių (ir ne tokių drąsių) ir viena kitos išsiilgusių akių. Čia mums nebereikia aiškinti, kad mes esame visur ir kad apskritai esame. Čia mums nieko niekam nereikia aiškinti. Širdys daužosi pagal spartėjantį bpm’ą, džiaugsmas užlieja krūtinę.
Tai toks vakarėlis, kurį tu ar net tavo dėdė homofobas viliotųsi slapta nufilmuoti, išsaugoti kasetę ir ją vis sukti ir sukti skęstant prisiminimuose…

WE ARE PROPAGANDA – kontrkultūrinis queer judėjimas, gimęs Baltic Pride 2016 metu Vilniuje kaip atsakas į normatyvų požiūrį į queer tapatybes. Tai saviorganizuota, nekomercinė platforma, jungianti vakarėlius, meną ir aktyvizmą, siekianti kurti saugesnes erdves ir remti bendruomenines iniciatyvas.

💄Not the first (and not the only one) in Lithuania, but a “grassrootedly” fabulous and unapologetically queer party WE ARE PROPAGANDA invites!
On 7 June, in the cultural complex SODAS 2123, you will be welcomed to another mischievous and heated WAP collaboration. This time with the iconic alternative drag collective from Gothenburg, CULT. A sequence of 8 live performances by drag queens and kings (and in betweens) will get the blood pumping and the gang entertained. 4 guests from Sweden and 4 local acts will be shaking the stages of Gothenburg and Vilnius upcoming weeks. Just like erasmus, but more radical. Be ready for an eclectic mix - from horror to comedy, with plenty of camp, politics and farce.
And what's Propaganda without the DJs from the local community! Also, of course, an open microphone, so that anyone and everyone whose voice is not heard among all the stars on the Baltic Pride stage can have their say.
This is the day of the year when we come together to show off, to celebrate ourselves and each other, and to share that we still don't have much to celebrate officially. Homophobia, transphobia and misogyny are still endlessly shutting the door in our faces. As we have become accustomed to, as is no longer surprising, but the rage is not going anywhere.
On this night we meet and accept ourselves and each other unconditionally. So many beautiful, brave (and not so brave) and longing eyes. Here we no longer have to explain that we are everywhere and that we exist at all. Here, we don't have to explain anything to anyone. Our hearts are beating at a faster bpm, joy is flooding our chests.
It's a party that you, or even your homophobic uncle, would be tempted to secretly film, save the tape and keep spinning and spinning it, while drowning in memories.

We Are Propaganda is a countercultural, queer movement for liberation, discovery, and bold alternatives based in Lithuania.
