PUSTO debiutinio albumo "Amnesia" pristatymas

Nekantraujame sugroti mūsų naują albumą „Amnesia“ jums gyvai! Po koncerto muzikinį foną tieks DJ Polyester.

Abumas buvo sukurtas eksperimentuojant studijoje, neįstatant savęs į Post Punk rėmus, tačiau tuo pat metu išlaikant žanro estetiką. Daugelis dainų buvo sukurtos grupės vokalistės bei dainų rašytojos Mašos ir prodiuserio Evaldo, tačiau ženkliai prisidėjo ir grupės gitaristas/bosistas Tautvydas.

Kiekvienas grupės narys turi skirtingą istoriją muzikos kelyje, tarkime Evaldas atėjo iš elektroninės muzikos pasaulio, Maša iš folkloro, bei metalo, o Tautvydas - metalistas. Tai suteikia Pusto muzikai įvairiapusiškumo ir unikalumo. Pavyzdžiui kaip folkrolro elementą, kūrinyje "Bezdna" galima išgirsti armoniką, bei bendrai albume kartais girdima folkloro įtaka vokalo manieroje. Kūrinyje "Check Mate" panaudotas sitaro garsas. Taip pat neįprasta tai jog dainos parašytos trimis skirtingomis kalbomis - anglų, ukrainiečių bei rusų, kas atspindi Mašos sudėtingą emigrantės identitetą.

Albumas liečia tokias temas kaip namų netekimas, fizine bei psichologine prasme, kadangi tenka gyventi žinant jog jos gimtinėje vyksta karas. Taip pat ir pasaulio korupcija, sudėtingas žmogaus psichikos pasaulis bei šešėlinė asmenybės dalis.

Kiekvienas albumo kūrinys pasiūlys kažką skirtingo, nostalgiško, gal būt net melancholiško, tačiau po visu tuo - viltis.

We can’t wait to play our new album „Amnesia“ for you live! After the concert we'll have a DJ set by Polyester

The album was created over a period of time by experimenting in the studio with different sounds and instruments, without trying to confine ourselves to one strict genre. However, still maintaining that atmospheric nostalgic feel with post punk elements. Most of the songs were written and composed by Masha and Evaldas, however the band would not be complete without our amazing guitarist/bass player Tautvydas who also contributed a lot to the composing process of the songs.

All the band members come from different musical backgrounds such as folk, electronic, and metal, so this definitely had an influence on the album's sound. For example in the track "Bezdna" you can hear a button accordion playing, which Masha created just as an experiment at first. Elements of folk vocals are also heard throughout the album, as well as an electronic sitar in the song "Check Mate". You will also get to hear songs in all three languages on this album, some in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, which represents Masha’s complex immigrant identity.

The album has a lot to do with themes like losing the idea of home both in a material and psychological sense, living with the fact that there is a war in Masha’s home country Ukraine, dealing with the corrupt state of the world and dealing with the complexities of the human psyche and its shadow. With every song you will get to experience a slightly different sound but overall the same energy, full of nostalgic melancholia but with a bit of hope.
