Kala Sound System kviečia į UNITY - trijų dienų renginį Kirtimų kultūros centre.
Šventė suplanuota švęsti tris dienas - nuo trečiadienio iki penktadienio, kas dieną džiaugiantis vis skirtinga programa, per visą salę išstatyta garso siena, skirta tokioms garso maudynėms, kokių visi mes, tiek klausytojai, tiek muzikantai, didžėjai ir selektoriai esam nusipelnę!
UNITY - tai grojančiųjų ir klausančiųjų susijungimas viename garso sraute.
Po sėkmingos iš trisdešimt keturių kolonėlių pastatytos garso sienos patirties per Kala Sound System 15 metų Extravaganza gimtadienį, nusprendėm, kad tai yra gerai, kad tai verta pakartoti ir pakviesti jus šitai patirčiai. Kai pavasaris ima veržtis lauk, puiki proga sudrebinti žemę ir jam padėti!
UNITY programa prasprogs spalvingais ir sultingais garsais, pradedant trečiadieniu, gegužės 7 d. Ji bus skirta garso menui ir grožiui. Norėjosi pakviesti patirti garsus kūrėjų, kurie privalo, mūsų kuklia nuomone, būti patirti per kuo didesnį garso plotį ir svorį. Tad pasivadinome Povilą Vaitkevičių ateiti su Oorchach mase, Andrių Kairį ir jo gudriai dėliojamus 7_/ garsus bei juzoką, Igną Juzoką, minkantį modulius.
Gegužės 8 d. skirta patirti rokenrolui per garso sieną, tuo būdu, kaip buvo sumanęs Grateful Dead garso inžinierius ir užsislaptinęs chemikas Augustus Owsley Stanley III, kuomet kiekvienas muzikantas ar instrumentų grupė groja tik per sau skirtus garsiakalbius tam, kad būtų išgautas garsas be harmoninių, intermodulinių iškraipymų. Jūsų žiniai, tai labai reta proga patirti tokią įgarsinimo situaciją, nes šiuolaikinis garsinimo standartas suveda ir paskirsto grojančių atlikėjų garsus į stereo sistemą, kurios Grateful Dead ir siekė išvengti. Prie viso to muzikantai groja priešais kolonėles, todėl irgi patiria tai, ką patiria klausytojai, ir gali išgirsti savo koncertą gyvai, apie ką iki šiol tik galėjo pasvajoti. Šia situacija pakvietėme pasimėgauti ir sugroti koncertus bei juose apsilankyti grupes Sraigės Efektas, Plié ir MASĖ.
Gegužės 9 d. skirta diskotekai ir uliavonei. Informuojame, jog didelis garsas leidžia mėgautis erdve tarp garsų, todėl pakvietėme pagroti Classical Critical, kuris kuria, atranda ir rodo Lietuvai ir pasauliui dubstepo garsus. Nuoseklią ir ritmingą programą sudėlios miela draugė iš Samopal System Emkidu, o juzokas paminėjo, jog pasinaudotų proga pagroti gyvojo techno. Žinoma, programoje figūruos ir nuolankiai jūsų Kala Sound System selektoriai ir kartais didžėjai, Egle Gud1, Teodoras, Pijus ir Paulius. Be paminėtų techno ir dubstep, skambės pavasariui būdingi įelektrinti rūgštesni garsai, jauki naminė muzika house, klaidusis jungle, bei visų protėvis dub.

Three days at the wall of sound!
Kala Sound System invites you to UNITY - a three-day event at the Kirtimai Culture Centre.
The celebration is planned to be celebrated for three days, from Wednesday to Friday, enjoying a different programme every day, with a wall of sound across the hall for the kind of sound bathing that all of us, listeners, musicians, DJs and selectors, deserve!
UNITY is the merging of players and listeners in a single sound stream.
After the successful experience of building a wall of sound out of thirty-four speakers during the Kala Sound System 15th Birthday Extravaganza, we decided that it was a good thing, that it was worth repeating and that we should invite you to this experience. When spring is starting to break out, it's a great opportunity to shake the ground and help it!
UNITY programme will burst into colourful and lush sounds, starting Wednesday 7 May. It will be dedicated to the art and beauty of sound. We wanted to invite you to experience the sounds of the creators, which must, in our humble opinion, be experienced through the widest possible breadth and weight of sound. So we invited Povilas Vaitkevičius to come with the mass of Oorchach, Andruis Kairys and his cleverly placed 7_/ sounds, and juzokas, Ignas Juzokas kneading modules.
8 May is dedicated to experiencing rock 'n' roll through a wall of sound, as conceived by Grateful Dead sound engineer and closet chemist Augustus Owsley Stanley III, where each musician or group of instruments plays through their own speakers to produce a sound free of harmonic intermodular distortion. For your information, this is a very rare opportunity to experience this sonic situation, as the modern standard of sound reinforcement brings and distributes the sounds of the performing artists into a stereo system, something the Grateful Dead wanted to avoid. In addition, the musicians are playing in front of speakers, so they experience what the audience is experiencing, and they can hear their concert live in a way they could only dream of before. We invited the bands Sraigės Efektas, Plié and MASĖ to enjoy this situation and to play and attend the concerts.
9 May is dedicated to a disco and a party. We would like to inform you that high volume allows you to enjoy the space between the sounds, so we have invited Classical Critical, who creates, discovers and introduces the sounds of dubstep to Lithuania and the world, to play. A coherent and rhythmic programme will be put together by a lovely friend from Samopal System, Emkidu, and juzokas mentioned that he would like to take the opportunity to play live techno. Of course, the programme will also feature your humble Kala Sound System selectors and occasional DJs, Egle Gud1, Teodoras, Pijus and Paulius. In addition to the aforementioned techno and dubstep, there will be the electrified, acidic sounds of spring, cosy house music, tricky jungle, and the ancestor of all dub.
You are very welcome to the outing in Kirtimai. The action will take place inside the cultural centre, and outside there will be a lovely courtyard and blossoms, a bar and the opportunity to socialise or listen to music, as you like it.
