During one day we will dive into the essential CI practice, that is fascinating for any beginner, intermediate or advanced CI practitioner.
We will combine moments of
- personal in-depth exploration, gradual preparation, alignment and strengthening
- opening for contact and tuning in with the other(s)
- exploration in duets and nourishing dances
- expanding awareness through group work
Someone asked me "What the intensive will be about?". I answered "About us!". About us, about you, who will be there!
The guiding line for this day will be your questions and research in CI, that you can bring with you in advance or discover at the moment during the practice.
We will focus on the essential at the present moment. We will listen, be attentive and caring.
I'm very glad about this exceptional meeting with involved and inspiring group, who will gather dancers from Baltic region, from continually evolving teachers to curious beginners.

Julija Melnik (from Lithuania, based in France) traveled the world to learn different dance and movement techniques, contact dance expert in the Baltics, and has a master's degree in educology science. She studied CI with many international level teachers, including CI pioneers in the USA.
The particularity of her approach is lightness and depth. Samara Yoga and Lou Yong Tao To Qi instructor, specialist in Gurdjieff dances, energetic and transgenerational techniques, meditation and healthy and vegetarian cuisine.
