Mieli žygeiviai,
Pagaliau orams sušilus ir norint savaitgalius praleisti kuo įdomiau ir prasmingiau, kviečiame jus į šį nepaprastą Baidaržygį, tiek žygiuojant kojomis, tiek plaukiant baidare! Ir ne bet kur, o viena gražiausių Lietuvos upių Ūla! Pirmąją šio dviejų dienų žygio dieną, gegužės 10 d., žygiuosime nedaug, tačiau vaizdai bus nuostabūs – eisime Ūlos upės pakrante, sustosime prie kelių vaizdingų atodangų, praeisime pro Ūlos akies versmę bei galų gale prieisime Trakiškio kaimą, kur sėsime į baidares ir plauksime Puvočių stovyklavietės link dar apie 4 valandas Ūlos ir Merkio upėmis. Tada, pasistatę palapines ir užvalgę kursime laužą ir mėgausimės pavasario vakaru.
Antrąją žygio dieną, jau gerai išsimiegoję palapinėse, tęsime savo žygį jau savomis kojomis Dzūkijos pušynais Zervynų kaimo link, pakeliui aplankydami Puvočių apžvalgos bokštą, praeisime pro Kašėtų kaimą ir Grūdos upę bei aplankysime Stėgalių stumbryną, kur galbūt pasiseks išvysti ne vieną stumbrą. Na ir galų gale pasieksime Zervynas, kur, sėdę į traukinį, važiuosime Vilniaus link.
Dėmesio! Norint rezervuoti vietą baidarėje, būtina užpildyti formą IR pervesti pinigus už baidarę į nurodytą sąskaitą žemiau, kitu atveju rezervacija negalios. Galimybės atsiskaityti grynaisiais pinigais galimybės nebus.

Dėmesio! Žygis bus su nakvyne stovyklavietėje. Žygiui svarbu su savimi turėti palapinę ar hamaką, kilimėlį ir šiltą miegmaišį būsimai temperatūrai ir orams. Taip pat pakeliui nebus jokių parduotuvių, tad svarbu maistu ir vandeniu pasirūpinti iš anksto. Taip pat, atžygiavus į Trakiškį, bus galimybė perduoti savo daiktus organizatoriams pervežimui į Puvočių stovyklavietę (galutinę plaukimo stotelę).
Kur ir kada?
Išvykstame gegužės 10 d., šeštadienį, iš Vilniaus geležinkelio stoties traukiniu Nr. 655 Vilnius – Zervynos 08:21 val. Susitinkame stotyje 08:05 val.
Grįžtame sekančią dieną, sekmadienį, 17:01 val. traukiniu Nr. 652 Zervynos – Vilnius.
Žygio atstumas – pirmąją dieną 11 km pėsčiomis ir apie 15 km baidarėmis , antrąją dieną 22 km pėsčiomis.
Žygio sudėtingumas – vidutinis-sunkus (dėl nakvynės).

Dear hikers,
As the weather finally warms up and you want to spend your weekends in a more interesting and meaningful way, we invite you to join us on this extraordinary kayak trip, both on foot and in a kayak! And not just anywhere, but on one of the most beautiful rivers in Lithuania - Ūla! On the first day of this two-day hike, the 10th of May, we will not be hiking very much, but the views will be amazing - we will walk along the banks of the Ūla River, stop at several picturesque outcrops, pass by the Ūla Eye Spring and finally arrive at the village of Trakiškis, where we will get on our kayaks and sail for about 4 more hours along the rivers Ūla and Merkys towards the Puvočiai campsite. Then, after pitching our tents and eating, we will build a campfire and enjoy the spring evening.
On the second day of the hike, after a good night's sleep in our tents, we will continue our hike on our own feet through the pine forests of Dzūkija, towards the village of Zervynos, visiting the Puvočiai lookout tower, passing by the village of Kašėtos and the Grūda River, and visiting the Stėgaliai bison farm, where we may be lucky enough to see more than one bison. Finally, we will reach Zervynos, where we will board the train and head towards Vilnius.

The price of a kayak place is 15€ (whole kayak - 30€), the price of a place will increase as the event approaches and the number of kayaks reaches a certain number of filled kayaks!

Attention! The trip will be an overnight camping trip. It is important to bring a tent or hammock, a mat and a warm sleeping bag for the upcoming temperature and weather. There will also be no shops along the way, so it is important to have food and water in advance. There will also be an opportunity to hand over your belongings to the organisers for transport to the Puvočiai campsite (the final stop of the swim) on the way back from Trakiškis.
Where and when?
We leave on Saturday the 10th of May from Vilnius railway station by train No 655 Vilnius - Zervynos at 08:21. We meet at the station at 08:05.
We return the next day, Sunday, at 17:01 on train No 652 Zervynos - Vilnius.
The distance of the hike is 11 km on foot and about 15 km by kayak on the first day and 22 km on foot on the second day.
Difficulty of the hike - medium-hard (due to overnight stay).

Bring: good mood, food for yourself and a friend, water, comfortable shoes, suitable clothes for the weather, a spotlight or a cyclops, camping equipment.
The VUŽK is open to everyone - anyone can join the hikes.
