Heavy Armored Combat Practice

Practice for SCA rattan/heavy armored fighting. Armor up and get some practice rounds in. There will be youth and adult combat practices running simultaneously.

Not part of this organization, but curious? We use armor that ranges from historical recreation to historically inspired, plus weaponry made from rattan instead of metal, to explore fighting as it was done before the 1600's. These practices help prepare participants to fight in tournaments and large scale group battles at events held not only in Georgia, but around the world.

New fighters are always welcome! If you'd like to try it out, loaner gear can often be arranged. Message us in advance and we will do what we can to get you started.
