Mcdonough Litter Clean Up & Nature Walk

Join us as we make a community effort to reduce our impact on the environment by cleaning up litter from the McDonough Wildlife Refuge.
McDonough Wildlife Refuge is full of native wildlife, plants and beautiful sights to see. Going on a nature walk to identify some of the plants, stones, and animals while cleaning up any litter on the way is a great way to enjoy nature while helping simultaneously.
We will go around the main paved walking loop, then take Buckeye Trail leading back to the paved loop. This is a beginner to intermediate hike.
Willow will hold a workshop during intermission to talk about alternatives and ways to use recycled items.
There will be water provided.
We will be accepting donations of bags, gloves, and any other items to help in future litter cleaning events.
